Jacques Bianchi Marseille unveils the JB300 Profonde Titane, a limited edition of 150 individually numbered pieces, co-developed with Deepsea.EDC based on the field experience of U.S. Navy diver Brock Stevens.
A radical and highly legible tool watch, it inaugurates a new generation of highly technical JB300 models: a Grade 5 titanium case with a “stonewashed” finish, and dual differentiated lume specifically designed for diving.
From the Navy to the Abyss
Born from field experience, the new JB300 Profonde Titane has been co-developed with Deepsea.EDC, drawing on the operational feedback of U.S. Navy diver Brock Stevens.
It is a true tool watch, serious, refined, designed to endure and perform. This limited edition of 150 numbered pieces inaugurates a new generation of JB300 models: more technical, more legible, and more radical, remaining faithful to JBM’s military DNA and its history of service-issued timepieces.
Built for the mission
Le boîtier de la JB300 Profonde Titane porte les marques de son processus de création. Sa finition « stonewashed » a nécessité plusieurs essais successifs avant d’atteindre le juste équilibre entre matière, nuance et résistance.
Chaque boîtier a été soumis à un traitement
« stonewashed » réalisé par microbillage successif, sans
polissage. Ce procédé, affiné après sept itérations, crée une surface mate, non uniforme et à faible réflectivité. Les avantages : atténuer sensiblement des micro-chocs et conférer au titane un aspect patiné au look très brut.
Ici, la texture et les teintes du titane prennent une patine d’outil, ni brillante ni totalement mate, rappelant les coques d’acier marquées par les ans et la mer. Ce choix esthétique est aussi technique : ce traitement inédit réduit les micro-rayures et modère
Conceived in water
The idea for this collaboration was born underwater.
During a joint dive off the coast of San Francisco in 2025, Simo Tber and Brock Stevens, a diver with the U.S. Navy, discussed what a truly useful and uncompromising dive watch should be. Brock was already wearing a JB300 Diver Black, which he had been using for several months in real-world conditions.
In the silence and pressure of the depths, the two men compared their instincts: one, rooted in the French school of utilitarian watchmaking; the other, shaped by American tactical discipline. From this shared immersion arose the conviction that a deep-sea watch cannot be designed solely at a drawing board, but also — and above all — in the water, alongside those who use it. Thus was born the JB300 Profonde, a technical diving watch conceived as a mission, designed with method, rigour, and respect for the equipment.
